This page presents a collection of photographs of me posing in front of my work . They date back to my time at art school in the mid 1960s and have continued since that time. They were taken for exhibition purposes, or to provide a sense of scale or randomly, just to finish off a roll of film. I have a surprising number of them. I’m not sure what questions they pose other than to ask whether the work matures at the same rate as the figure in front of it. Revealed, with greater certainty, however, is the fact that since 1966 my body, which thinks it is always standing upright has, in fact, a distinct tilt to the left. The trope of the leaning figure before the work now interests me.
